Space Dandy's Top 10 Pickup Lines
by FUNimation (Paid Advertisement),
If there's anything Space Dandy knows (or thinks he knows) how to do, it's to pick up chicks! Sure, he may not be batting a thousand, but you miss one-hundred percent of the shots you don't take, baby! Check out the top ten pickup lines from season one!
Click the "next image" () button to get started.
10. “You should be more careful… you might get burned!”
We start the list off not with Dandy, but with the metallic apple of QT's eye, Maker. The coffee-making robot makes her introduction with an innocent yet enticing comment to QT, foreshadowing their relationship and winning his heart in the process. Wait, does QT even have a heart?
9. “It's Dandy, but you can call me Space Dandy.”
Now that's more like it! Our first visit to Boobies establishes the kind of womanizer wannabe that Dandy – make that Space Dandy – truly is. His first meeting with Honey doesn't quite land him a date, but hey, gotta start somewhere, baby!
8. “Babe… can you spot me some cash?”
The art of asking a hot chick for favors is a complex one: do you ease into the request, or do you cut right to the chase? Here, Dandy opts for the latter, hitting Scarlet up for some much-needed woolongs. Unfortunately, she doesn't pay up. Next time!
7. “Never had a ménage hot nurse before!”
Let's be honest, every guy would love a team of hot medical members coming in for a nibble! Who cares if they're dim-witted zombies? Love kind of has that effect on people, right? Dandy doesn't discriminate, baby!
6. “AUGGGHHHH…”
So what, just cause you've been bitten and now serve the army of the undead doesn't mean you can't have a little fun! A great place like Boobies will still treat you like a boss – talk about customer service! Even as a mindless zombie, Dandy shows that he's still got it!
5. “You mean you're omnivorous? No way, me too!”
Everyone's favorite Betelgeusian gets in on the action with this gem. Meow steals some of Dandy's thunder by making his move on the adorable Mamitas. His victory is short-lived thanks to the babe's voracious appetite—but what a victory it was!
4. “No need for cryin' anymore, baby. I'll personally ensure you get home safe… unless, you'd rather stay with me.”
Before that stupid cat thing throws off his game, Dandy tries his own luck at Mamitas, comforting and reassuring her before moving in with the suggestive suggestion. Smooth transition, dude!
3. “I can practically hear Beethoven's Sixth, playing just for us.”
Yeah, yeah, so Dandy and Scarlet don't have a perfect relationship. But what better woman to work your magic on than one who a.) you don't really like but is kinda okay-looking depending on the lighting, and b.) has the woolongs you need to cover dinner? Such truths make Dandy's callback to the greatest composer ever all the more impressive. Who cares if he got Beethoven's symphonies mixed up? Numbers are so overrated. Come on Scarlet, just go with the flow, baby!
2. “I came yesterday, and I came today too… And don't you worry, I'm sure I'll come tomorrow, baby!”
This Dandy special has all the Boobies waitresses running straight into Dandy's arms… straight past them, rather. Truly a beautiful thing wasted. But hey, A for effort, my man. A-plus for effort.
1. “Whatever your name. is, that's a grade-A butt you've got there… baby.”
Nothing like a good ol' compliment about what's below the waist to win a babe's heart! After a couple of failed attempts to dip into Scarlet's wallet, Dandy instead sits back and watches the fiery redhead kick some major galaxy ass. Naturally, he can't help but notice Scarlet's finest asset, too.
Easy there, ladies and gents, there's plenty more Space Dandy to go around!
