Vocaloid Hatsune Miku Makes Appearance on Music Station Ultra FES
posted on by Carlos Cadorniga
The virtual idol recently made a live action appearance on Japanese national television.
The Vocaloid Hatsune Miku performed on stage during Japanese music show Music Station on Wednesday.
As the program's very first virtual singer, Miku joins the likes of several Japanese pop stars as well as artists around the world like Lady Gaga, Maroon 5, Bruno Mars, Aerosmith and Stevie Wonder who have graced the stage before her. She performed the song "Senbonzakura." She arrived on the scene during Music Station's Ultra FES event.
Miku's appearance came as a result of a special questionnaire sent out to 10,000 people to determine the best 100 current songs in Japan. Music Station sent out this questionnaire as their way of celebrating almost thirty years of broadcast.

Twitter user and artist SHU_Littlebit had their own fun with her performance, depicting Hatsune Miku ecstatic over her own performance on television. One would wonder how she'd going about watching herself live...
