Cinnamoroll's Fluffy 15th Anniversary Food Truck is on Tour
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
Cinnamoroll, a series of Sanrio mascots that include the white puppy Cinnamon and his friends Chiffon, Milk, Cappuccino and more are expanding into the world of fluffy foods. The characters inspired their own travelling food truck, which of course, is also fluffy, and are taking it on tour to delight people throughout Japan to celebrate the characters' 15th anniversary.
The truck first stopped in Shibuya on February 26. The first 400 visitors to visit the Cinnamaroll Wagon received a "Citrus Candy" gift on top of perusing the cafe's unique "cloud-like" foods including cotton candy. The truck then moved on to Yokohama for the 2017 Bread Festival on March 3-4, Ginza on March 5 for the Fluffy Cinnamaroll Exhibition, and then to Tokyo's Makuhari Messe center on March 28 for the Chōjūdai-ULTRA TEENS FES-2017@TOKYO event.
The tour will continue this summer after its next stops are decided.
It's great to see Cinnamon and crew celebrating together. The mascot has run into trouble online in the past after Twitter users took up bullying the character. Cinnamon then had to deal with an impostor posting lewd content as the character.
