Saitsuyo Densetsu Nakane Manga Collaborates With Mizuho Bank
posted on by Jennifer Sherman
The Saitsuyo Densetsu Nakane (Strongest Legend Nakane) manga is collaborating with Mizuho Bank for the "Saitsuyo: Nakane no Maemuki Ryman Web" (Strongest: Nakane's Forward-Looking Salaryman Web) online promotion. The bank's new promotional web page posted a video that features the manga's storyboards and introduces its story on Friday.
The website showcases the story and art from the manga while promoting Mizuho Bank's services. The 60-second video on the site is screening on a digital sign in Ōtemachi Station in Tokyo until June 30.
In the manga's story, bank worker Shūhei Nakane becomes dissatisfied with his daily life and pours himself into Instagram. He becomes obsessed with getting "likes" as he pursues his "ideal self." The manga is a spinoff of Nobuyuki Fukumoto's Saikyō Densetsu Kurosawa manga, in which Nakane appears.
Motomu Uehara and Kazuya Arai are drawing the manga based on Kenji Yokoi's story and with collaboration from Nobuyuki Fukumoto. The series launched in Shogakukan's Yawaraka Spirits magazine in December.
